Haunted Happenings at SEPG NA

If you’ve ever been sightseeing, I’m sure you’ve been on one of the guided tours where someone in a period costume walks you around town and tells you stories about the town’s history and points out sites of frequent ghost sightings.

As one of America’s most haunted cities,  Savannah takes the historic ghost tour to a whole new level.  You can hear ghost stories while riding in the back of a hearse (no joke), use EMF detectors while walking through the infamous Carriage House or even take a candlelight walking tour of Savannah’s haunted pubs.

For those interested in the latter, a group of SEPG North America conference-goers will be gathering at the Moon River Brewing Company on Sunday evening to take part in the Haunted Pub Tour.  Here are all of the details:

Who: Anyone attending SEPG NA 2010

What: Haunted Pub Crawl Tour

When: Sunday, March 21st at 7:45p.m. EST

Where: Meet at the Moon River Brewing Co. off Bay Street across from the Hyatt

Why: Why not!?!

**This is a 21 and older tour. Tickets are $10 each with coupon. Meet up at 7:30 for pre tour socialization!

***Note: Payment is made to the tour guide directly, at the time of the tour.  Guides accept cash or traveler’s checks only.

If you’re interested in attending the Haunted Pub Tour, please comment on this post or respond on via the LinkedIn and Twitter pages.

See you in Savannah!

  1. This should be fun, Dana! You already know you can count me in. I really look forward to meeting you and the other pub crawlers.

  2. Had a blast at the Crawl. True, the ghost stories were scary. But who would have thought that at the end we’d be singing and dancing in a karaoke bar? That was MUCH more frightening! — Bill
