Flight Disruptions Possible on Iberia Airlines

For delegates making travel arrangements for SEPG Europe 2012, please note that pilots for the Spanish airline Iberia recently went on strike. News reports indicate that the pilots have planned 30 one-day strikes, every Monday and Friday, from now through 20 July 2012.

As you make travel plans for SEPG Europe 2012 in Madrid, we recommend staying up to date on the status of the Iberia strike. If at all possible, consider altering your days of arrival and departure and/or taking an alternate airline to reduce the chance of travel difficulties. Madrid Airport Barajas is served by all the major airline alliances, so there are many options for arranging travel to and from Madrid.

For more information on news on the strike and canceled flights, visit the Iberia website.

Information on accommodations at the NH Eurobuilding Hotel are available on the SEPG Europe conference website.

Register today (before the early-bird savings expire on 30 April) and join us for three days of learning and networking, tapas, Spanish wine, and local culture. We look forward to seeing new and returning delegates in Madrid!
